Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 3. By way of this review petition, the petitioner is seeking the review of the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 7592 of 2023, titled as Uma Devi versus State of Himachal Pradesh, decided on 11.10.2023, in terms whereof, the writ filed by the petitioner was dismissed and the orders passed by the Appellate Authorities were upheld by the Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the review is being sought on the ground that this fact was not brought to the notice of this Court that the initial appeal filed by the private respondents against the selection of the petitioner was time barred. 4. This Court is of the considered view that review of the judgment can be sought when there is an error apparent on face of it. Herein, there is an admission on the part of the petitioner that review is being sought on a ground which was neither agitated nor urged before this Court. Therefore, this Court sees no reason to recall its judgment as review cannot be used as a tool to introduce new grounds to agitate the issue. 5. Therefore, this Court does not finds any error apparent on the face of the record the review petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
