PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagar'lk Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A4, seeking regular bail, in Cr'lme No.87 of 2024 of Hukumpeta Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju district. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) a-`,.`.. eA -,1 c--- _i read with 8(c), 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, I-n brief, is that, on o3.09.2024, at about 08.30 hours, on credible information, the sub-Inspector of Police, Hukumpeta Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to Pamurai junction, Teegalavalasa Panchayat, Hukumpeta MandaI, and found Al to A4 l'n possession and illegal transportation of 24 Kgs of Ganja in an auto bearing regI|Stratl'On No.AP 31 TG 0854. The contraband along wl'th the vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Petitioner/A4 was arrested on o3.09.2024 and since then he is l'n judicial remand. The quantity of contraband that was sel'zed from the possession of the accused is 24 Kgs of Ganja. Learned AssI'Stant Public Prosecutor submits that the entire investigation is completed and the police have filed charge sheet on 28.01.2025.
