The petitioner claims that he had retired from services on 24.06.2024, but he is not being paid the enhanced pension to which he is entitled to. The first, second and third Assured Career Progression were not given timely to him. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. On the last occasion, the Court had required learned State Counsel to get instructions because it was stated on behalf of the petitioner that he had already submitted a representation dated 16.04.2025, which is Annexure No.9, to the concerned authority. Today, learned State Counsel submits that the matter has been forwarded to the State Government by the respondent no.2/Inspector General on 05.05.2025. He has tendered a copy of the communication. It is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to take a decision on the representation dated 16.04.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, within a stipulated time. Learned State Counsel submits that the representation dated 16.04.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, will be decided by the respondents-authority, within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent-authority to decide the representation dated 16.04.2025, which is Annexure No.9 to the writ petition, within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law.
