This petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused No.12 seeking permission to travel to Chicago, USA, from 09.05.2026 to 02.06.2026, by relaxing the condition imposed earlier restricting him from leaving the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and for a consequential direction to the Investigating Officer to hand over his passport to enable him to travel to the United States of America and to receive the same upon his return.

learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner intends to visit the USA for a period of 26 days as to assist his son, namely Biradavolu Rahul Reddy, who is presently residing

at 4420 N Winchester Ave Unit 1f, Chicago, IL 60640, USA and would return in the first week of June, 2026, and undertake to appear before the Investigating Officer on 05.06.2026.
Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that notice has been served on the de-facto complainant and that this Court may pass appropriate orders by imposing stringent conditions.
Considering the submissions made by both sides, and having regard to the fact that the proposed trip is only for a period of 26 days, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to visit the USA.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed subject to the following conditions:
1. The petitioner is permitted to travel to Chicago, USA, from 09.05.2026 to
02.06.2026.
2. The Investigating Officer shall return the passport of the petitioner to enable him to undertake the said travel.
3. The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) before the Investigating Officer.

4. The petitioner shall furnish to the Investigating Officer a mobile phone number which shall remain operational during his stay in the USA, so as to enable the Investigating Officer to contact and monitor his movements, if necessary.
5. The petitioner shall redeposit his passport before the Investigating Officer on or before 05.06.2026 by 5:00 PM.
