Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pandu P.S. Case No. 19/2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 592/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120B/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of Ms. Sikha Agarwal, learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamu.
3. It appears that about Rs. 30,66,000/- were misappropriated from Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank, Branch- Pandu with the help of some bank employees and middle man.
4. It was submitted that petitioner is not an employee of Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank, Pandu Branch. It was further submitted that allegation against the petitioner is that he was middle man and had helped the accused persons in misappropriating the aforesaid amount.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit bringing on record the judgment passed in this case in which some bank employees and other accused persons, who had faced trial, have been acquitted by learned Trial Court.
5. Mr. Devesh Krishna, learned S.C. Mines-III has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Sikha Agarwal, learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamu
or her successor in connection with Pandu P.S. Case No. 19/2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 592/2022.
