JUSTICE MICHAEL ZOTHANKHUMA ORDER Date : 05-05-2025 Heard Mr. JI Borbhuiya, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner’s vehicles were hired by the respondents and the bills payable by the respondents amounted to Rs.51,34,441/-. However, the same has not been paid to the petitioner till date. 2. Mr. G Bokalial, learned counsel for all the respondents submits that in terms of the affidavit-in-opposition filed by the respondent No. 7, the petitioner was paid Rs.2,22,896/- out of his total bill of Rs.51,34,441/-. Accordingly, the petitioner is still to be paid a balance amount of Rs.49,11,545/-. He submits that the bills of the petitioner Page No.# 3/3 have been sent to the Assam Police Headquarter, Ulubari, Guwahati for necessary sanction and release of funds. 3. In view of the admission made by the respondents that they are still liable to pay to the petitioner, the balance amount of Rs.49,11,545/-, after getting necessary sanction and release of funds from the Assam Police Headquarter, Ulubari, this Court directs the respondents to complete the entire exercise for obtaining sanction, funds and paying the petitioner the admitted amount. The same should be done within a period of 4 (four) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
