1. Heard on I.A. No. 01/2024, which is an application for exemption from filing the typed copy. 2. On due consideration of the submission of the counsel for the petitioner as also, the pleadings made in the application, I.A. No 01/2024 is allowed. 3. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for the following relief(s):-
“10.1. That, the Hon'ble Court may be kind enough to call entire service record of the petitioner necessary for adjudication of the case. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents authority to consider and grant petitioner first and second Kramonnati Vetanman benefits from the date of when petitioner completed 10-20 years of service respectively, in light of order dated 28.02.2024 passed in Writ Appeal No. 261/2023 Smt. Sona Sahu Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Ors and also in light of State circular dated 10.03.2017. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble Court may be kind enough to direct the respondent authorities to consider and grant all consequential benefits, arrears and other benefits flowing from the first and second kramonnati vetanman benefits along with 18% interest from the date of completion of 10 years of service till the actual payment of Kramonnati Vetanman within a stipulated period of 30 days.
10.4 That, any other relief/reliefs which may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be allowed.”
4. The claim of the petitioner is with regard to grant of first Kramonnati and second Kramonnati Vetanman. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that with regard to award of first Kramonnati Vetanman and second Kramonnati Vetanman some circular has also been issued by the respondent-State. Apart from
3 this, Division Bench of this Court in case of Smt. Sona Sahu vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others in W.A. No.261 of 2023 has also consider the identical issue. Petitioner is also entitled for first Kramonnati Vetanman and second Kramonnati Vetanman. He further submits that at present this petition may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents No. 2 & 3/competent authority in light of order passed by this Court in W.A. No.261 of 2023 dated 28/02/2024. 5. Learned State counsel opposes the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 6. Be that as it may, looking to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, this petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make representation raising all grounds as raised in this writ petition to respondents No. 2 & 3/competent authority annexing all relevant documents and judgment passed in W.A. No.261 of 2023. On such representation being made, it is expected that the respondents No.2 &3/competent authority shall consider the same in accordance with law considering the circular(s) issued in this regard, in light of judgment in W.A. No.261 of 2023 within further period of 04 months from the date of receipt of such representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of this case, it is for the respondents No. 2 & 3 to consider the claim of petitioner on its own merits. 7.
