This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondent No.4 in not registering a crime against the culprits having received the complaint on 11.12.2020 is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of 154, 155, 157 of Cr.P.C and also contrary to the settled principle of law laid down by the constitutional courts and consequently direct the respondents to register the crime on the compliant of the petitioner dated 11.12.2020 forthwith…”
2. Heard Sri V.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. This petition is filed seeking a direction to the Police to register FIR. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that a crime has been registered on the complaint made by the petitioner vide Crime No.07/2021 for the offence under Sections 420 r/w 34 IPC. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _________________________________________
