The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in cross-case bearing GD No.3 dated 06.02.2025, under Sections 115(2), 118(1) (2), 148, 191(2), 151(2) (3), 191 (3), 351(2) (3) of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Rahon, District SBS Nagar, in case bearing FIR No.8 dated 02.02.2025, under Sections 115(2), 304, 324(6), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Rahon, District SBS Nagar. 2. There are allegations of causing gandasa blow on the head of injured namely Kundan Singh, with an intention to kill him. Said injury was declared grievous in nature. 3. The argument addressed by the counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is a member of Panchayat and as per the CCTV footage available of the place of incident, the fact that petitioner was not present can be ascertained. 4. Such an argument cannot be appreciated at this stage, because the same is factual in nature.
