PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.3 of 2025 of Dwaraka Tirumala Police Station, Eluru district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 179, 180, 2 182(1) and 318(4) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 02.01.2025, on credible information about involvement and circulation of fake currency near Yadava Kalyana Mandapam, situated at Dwaraka Tirumala to Rallakunta road, Dwaraka Tirumala village and Mandal, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Dwaraka Tirumala Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, reached the spot and found A2 to A4 standing near motor cycle and interacting with each other. On seeing the police, they tried to escape from that place. The SI of Police with the help of his staff caught hold A2 to A4. A2 confessed that A1 is circulating fake currency and he joined with A1; on 02.01.2025, A1 called him and A3 to his house and handed over Rs.15,00,000/- fake currency notes and asked them to handover the same to A4. Accordingly, A4 came to the spot. Police seized 30 counterfeit currency bundles of Rs.500/- denomination from the possession of A2, five (5) bundles of genuine currency notes of Rs.2,50,000/- and one Realme mobile phone from the possession of A4 and Bajaj Pulsar Motor cycle from the possession of A3 under cover of a 3 mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record, prima facie, goes to show that the petitioner herein/A4 and other accused were apprehended red-handedly while they were dealing with fake currency notes. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is at nascent stage and some more witnesses are to be examined. He further submits that if the petitioner is released on bail, he would hamper the investigation and tamper with the prosecution witnesses. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. 6.
