THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO ISSUE A WRIT OF MANDAMUS OR ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE WRIT, ORDER OR DIRECTION DIRECTING THE RESPONDENTS TO RECTIFY THE DEFECTIVE FORMATION OF THE SANDUR BYPASS ROAD ON THE LAND OWNED AND POSSESSED BY THE PETITIONER AND FURTHER DIRECT THE RESPONDENTS TO PAY THE COMPENSATION FOR THE LOSSES THAT HAS BEEN SUFFERED BY THE PETITIONER OVER THE YEARS. THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, B GROUP THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA)
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer:
“WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to rectify the defective formation of the Sandur bypass road on the land owned and possessed by the Petitioner and further direct the Respondents to pay the compensation for the losses that has been suffered by the Petitioner over the years, allow this writ petition, with costs and grant such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deems fit to grant, in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”

The Coordinate Bench of this Court in terms of the order dated 18.09.2025 has passed the following order:
“Taking note of the relief sought for and considering the stand of the State that if the petitioner along with other affected persons could approach the authorities, the respondents would look into the same, the matter is adjourned for a period of two weeks. In the interregnum, the petitioner is
directed to approach the second respondent and make efforts to take the other affected neighbours. Relist this petition in the week commencing from 13.10.2025.”
3. Learned AGA submits that, if the order is complied with and a representation is submitted to the respondent, appropriate orders would be passed upon the same by the third respondent.
4. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, If a reasonable time is granted, the
order dated 18.09.2025 would be complied and a representation would be submitted to the respondents.

5. In the light of the said submission and the counter-submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition with a direction to the petitioner to submit a representation in compliance with the
Order dated 18.09.2025, upon which the respondents would pass necessary orders in accordance with law.
6. The petitioner shall comply with the order dated 18.09.2025 within an outer limit of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and submit a representation thereon. The respondent shall pass necessary orders in accordance with law within twelve weeks after the submission of the representation by the petitioner. Ordered accordingly.
