Padmavathi, learned counsel, representing Sri G.V. Shivaji, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that petitioner is not in touch with them and since the writ petition was instituted in the year 2002, challenging the proceedings of the 3rd respondent as confirmed by the 2nd respondent, in relation to cancellation of caste certificate, that he would eventually have retired from service and on account of the client not being in touch, it is stated that she has not been instructed to proceed on merits. 2 CGR, J. W.P.No.22010 of 2002 2. While issuing notice in the writ petition, this Court had only protected the interest of petitioner to the extent of prosecution. 3. In view of the same, the writ petition stands dismissed for non- prosecution. However, granting liberty to seek restoration, in case the cause really survives. No order as to costs.
