Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking the concession of interim bail for a period of four weeks on account of demise of his father on 27.04.2025. 2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the presence of the petitioner would be required at the time of Bhog Ceremony of his departed father, which is to commence on 08.05.2025 at Karnal. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent-CBN, on instructions, has not disputed the submissions made by the counsel opposite, and on further instructions, has submitted that indeed the Bhog Ceremony of the father of the petitioner is due to take place on 08.05.2025 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Karnal, which stands verified in the status report filed on behalf of the respondent-CBN in the Court today. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the relevant material on record. 5. The petitioner is allowed to attend the Bhog Ceremony of his father on 08.05.2025 in police custody. The petitioner shall be taken under police custody to the venue of Bhog Ceremony i.e. Karnal on 08.05.2025 at 10 a.m. and would be escorted back to the jail, where he is presently lodged, on the same day by 05:00 p.m. All travel expenses incurred by the authorities concerned, shall be borne by the petitioner. 6. The instant petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
