-------- For the Petitioner(s)
: Mr. Rishu Ranjan, Advocate For the State

04/ Dated 25.02.2025
Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S. Case No. 85 of 2024, S.T. Case No.96 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh.
On 05.04.2024, daughter of the informant was murdered in her matrimonial home. Petitioner happens to be the brother-in-law of the deceased.
From the impugned order, it appears that victim was strangulated to death.
It was submitted that co-accused Mohan Kumar Munda has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.7933/2024. It appears that co-accused Mohan Kumar Munda was not related to the deceased and the only allegation against the co-accused that he was seen near the place of occurrence at the time of occurrence.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage.
