The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the First Information Report dated 19.03.2025, registered as Case Crime No.59 of 2025 under Sections 109, 3(5) of the BNS 2023 and Section 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, at Police Station Sandipan Ghat, District Kaushambi. 3. After considerable arguments, once the Court declined to quash the impugned First Information Report, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner does not want to press the writ petition. He submits that the petitioner has already instituted anticipatory bail application before the concerned court, which has been rejected. He submits that certified copy of the impugned FIR may be returned to him. It is further submitted that the writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed and leave may be accorded to press anticipatory bail before the High Court. 4. Accordingly, with the aforesaid leave, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. Certified copy of the impugned FIR shall be returned to the learned counsel for the petitioner after retaining a photostat copy of the same in the records. 5.
