Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution praying, inter alia, for issuance of directions to the official respondent Nos.1 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 6 to 14. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced copy of order dated 15.05.2024 passed by learned Sessions Judge, Amritsar, which is taken on record as Mark ‘X’. Registry to tag the same at appropriate place. 3. After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for petitioner wishes to withdraw the petition with liberty to move an appropriate application before learned Sessions Court, where Criminal Miscellaneous Application filed by the petitioners was dismissed for non-prosecution on 15.05.2024 (Mark X). 4.
