GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE 4 THE HONOURABLE DR.JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 16293 of 2021 The Court made the following Order: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not taking (my action against the unofficial respondents for imposing social boycott on the petitioners family members and not registering the F.I.R. against them basing on the complaint given by the petitioner on 19-06-2021 under the provisions of S.C/S.T (POA) Act as per law is as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the 'Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents 2 and 3 to take steps to top the social boycot which is still continuing and take steps to restore the normal situation in the community in the interest of justice.” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that basing on the petitioners’ representation, a crime was registered against the unofficial respondents vide Crime No.167 of 2021 on the file of Atchampet Police Station, Guntur District, for the offences punishable under Section 506, 509 read with 34 IPC, 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(z)(zc), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes And The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 5 4.
