Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:72364 Court No. - 6 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 6037 of 2025 Petitioner :- Rakesh Kumar Respondent :- State Of Up And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rohit Pandey,Yogesh Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Nagendra Kumar Pandey Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. Heard Sri Rohit Pandey, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri N.K. Pandey, Advocate for Respondents-2 to 5. 2. Petitioner was sleeping on his rights, if any, and now has approached this Court that he is entitled for an annual increment since 21.10.2016. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner has shown some representations, however, after 2017 there was a huge gap and now in the years 2024 and 2025 petitioner has filed representations. 4. Learned counsel appearing for Respondents-2 to 5, on basis of instructions, submits that no recent representation is received in the office of concerned respondent. 5. In aforesaid circumstances, though petitioner was lethargic and has not approached this Court or authorities to ventilate his grievance, still since it is a financial matter, therefore, claim of petitioner can be considered. However, it is made clear that in case petitioner has made out a case for annual increment, he is not entitled for any interest thereon. 6. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of with observation that petitioner will serve a detail representation by way of Dasti in the office of concerned respondent within four weeks from today and thereafter his claim will be considered in accordance with law.
