Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:71620 Court No. - 6 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5985 of 2025 Petitioner :- Prashant Kumar Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Satyendra Chandra Tripathi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Shivendra Kumar Singh Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. Heard Sri Satyendra Chandra Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shivendra Kumar Singh for the respondent no.2 2. Petitioner has made out a case that his candidature was not considered for appointment on the post of Academic Resource Person (ARP) on erroneous grounds that his B.Tech degree was not equivalent to a degree of graduation with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, despite B.Tech subjects namely Engineering Physics 1, Engineering Physics 2 and Engineering Chemistry Discrete and Mathematics 2. 3. In the above circumstances, since it has been informed that present recruitment for ARP has substantially proceeded and written examination has also been concluded, therefore, relief sought for considering the petitioner's candidature on post of ARP in present recruitment process cannot be granted at this stage. 4. It is not disputed that petitioner can still apply on the post of ARP in a fresh recruitment if undertaken by the concerned respondent. 5. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction that if fresh advertisement is issued, concern respondents shall make B.Tech Degree also a requisite eligibility considering it to be equivalent to the graduation with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to remove any ambiguity.
