According to petitioner, he was acquitted by the Trial Court, however, in the meantime, proceedings initiated against him under the Arms Act was dismissed on account of his failure to appear before the District Magistrate on a particular date. According to petitioner, he made an application for restoration of the proceedings, which is not being decided. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner prays that District Magistrate be directed to expedite disposal of the restoration application.
