The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents no.1 and 2 to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no.3 in the property bearing No. E-12/36, Hauz Rani, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017 (‘subject property’). 2. Status reports have been filed on behalf of respondents no.1 and 2. 2.1 However, the same are not on record. 2.2 A copy of the status reports dated 8th April, 2026 and 9th July, 2026 filed on behalf of MCD has been handed over in Court and the same are taken on record. 3. As per the status reports, sealing action has been taken against the subject property on 16th April, 2026 and one (1) flat has been sealed at one (1) point on the first floor. The status reports state that during a recent inspection, the seal was found to be tampered and taking note of the same, the MCD is proposing to lodge an FIR against the violators. Next, the demolition/sealing action has been fixed for 15th July, 2026. 5. The present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to pursue the proposed sealing/demolition action fixed for 15th July, 2026. 6. A direction is also issued to the respondent no.2/ SHO, Police Station, Malviya Nagar to provide the necessary police force on the said date for the proposed demolition/sealing action. 7. Liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies as per law in the event the petitioner any has further grievance. 8.
