IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH AT AMARAVATI (Special Original Jurisdiction) [3331] THURSDAY ,THE FIRST DAY OF MAY TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY FIVE PRESENT THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI CONTEMPT CASE NO: 720/2020 Between: Smt. G. Surendramma and Others ...PETITIONER(S) AND Mr Kanakasena Reddy and Others ...CONTEMNOR(S) Counsel for the Petitioner(S):
1. A CHANDRAIH NAIDU Counsel for the Contemnor(S):
1. P SUBASH The Court made the following ORDER:
The above contempt case is filed complaining about the non- implementation of the order dated 17.09.2019 in W.P.No.21540 of 2019. 2. The petitioners three in number filed the aforementioned writ petition to declare the action of respondents 3 and 4 in not considering the representation dated 18.06.2019 for issuance of fresh Pattadar pass Books and Title Deeds duly updating the concerned Revenue Records including the web-land in respect of the agricultural lands of the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 3. The said writ petition was disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to submit an online application in terms of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar
2
Passbooks Act, 1971 within two weeks. Further directed the authority to consider the application and pass orders strictly per law. 4. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the copy of the order was served on the respondents on 27.03.2020, however, the order has not been implemented. 5. A reply was filed by the 2nd respondent. In paragraph 4 of the reply, it was stated that the petitioners had applied for the issuance of Title Deeds and Pattadar Passbooks through Mee-Seva on 31.01.2020. Their claim was rejected by an order passed thereafter. Subsequently, the petitioners submitted applications under VI(a) for the issuance of Title Deed-cum- Pattadar Passbooks for lands situated in Peddapalivedu Village, B.N. Kandriga Mandal, Chittoor District, on 24.08.2020 and 25.08.2020. In respect of certain lands, the applications were allowed and mutation was effected; however, in respect of other lands, the claims were rejected. The reply contains all relevant details about these applications. 6. Thus, as seen from the reply affidavit, the respondents acted upon the order in the writ petition W.P.No.21540 of 2019 and thereafter passed orders. 7. Since an order has been passed, this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 17.09.2019 in W.P. No. 21540 of 2019. Hence, the contempt case is liable to be dismissed. 8.
Accordingly, the contempt case is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI Dated 01.05.2025 KA
