Respondents (Cause title is taken from Case Information System) For Petitioners : Shri Shailendra Kumar Bajpai, Advocate For State : Ms. Nupoor Sonkar, Panel Lawyer 3 Hon’ble Shri Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad Order on Board 02/04/2025 1. According to learned counsel appearing for the State, this petition has been filed for grant of relief in respect of compensation against acquisition of land. 2. The reliefs sought for by the petitioners in this petition are as under: “10.1 This Hon’ble Court may be kind enough to direct the respondent Collector, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi to pay the compensation to the Petitioners with applicable interest under Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 10.2 This Hon’ble Court may be pleased to pass any other order(s)/direction(s) as this Hon’ble Court deems fit, looking into the facts and circumstances of the case.” 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that during the pendency of this petition award dated 6.5.2022 has been passed and accordingly some of the petitioners have already received the amount of compensation, however, some of the petitioners have not yet taken the amount of compensation, as such the grievance which has been raised in this petition has already been redressed and the petition has become infructuous. 4 4. Considering the fact that award has already been passed on 6.5.2022 and the individual persons have been given the amount of award as is submitted by learned counsel for the State, it seems that the grievance of the petitioners has already been redressed. However, if any grievance still survives, the petitioners may file an appropriate application before the appropriate authority. 5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Sd/- (Amitendra Kishore Prasad) JUDGE Gopal Singh
