When these Writ Petitions were listed on 03.07.2025, this Court had directed Sri V. Hemanth Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for NCTE to obtain instructions whether NCTE has given any directions to the respective Universities to follow the schedule as fixed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh : (2013) 2 SCC 617. 4. On doing some research, this Court has tumbled upon an other Order passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court, which had slightly modified 3 SL. NO. DATE ORDER OFFICE NOTE the Schedule for Recognition in Para-87.1 of the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya’s case. This modification has been made in an Interlocutory Application filed by Weltech College of Education and Another Vs. State of U.P and Others in the Order of the Hon’ble Apex Court on 18.06.2013 (I.A.No.2 in Civil Appeal No.9078 of 2012). Despite the fact that the Hon’ble Apex Court had slightly modified the Schedule relating to the Recognition in Para-87.1 of Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya’s Order, this modification has not been reported in any Journal. 5. This Order has been downloaded from the website of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. 6. In this view of the matter, Sri V. Hemanth Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for NCTE is directed to obtain Written Instructions whether the NCTE has given any directions to the respective Universities to follow the schedule as fixed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh : (2013) 2 SCC 617 and also the modification of the Schedule for Recognition in Weltech College of Education and Another Vs.
