This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in calling the petitioner to the I Town Police Station, Chirala and pressurizing him to register the house property constructed in an extent of Ac.0.21/2 cents situated in D.No.20-1 of Chirala Town, Prakasam District, without registering any crime, being illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 not to interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioner and the house property constructed in an extent of Ac.0.21/2 cents situated in D.No.20-1 of Chirala Town, Prakasam District”

Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that a crime has been registered against the petitioner herein vide Crime No.307 of 2021 on the file of Chirala I Town Police Station, Prakasam District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 324, 506 read with Section 34 IPC on 05.08.2021 itself. 3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to follow due process of law
