ORDER: Impugning the notices issued to the petitioners bearing No.R.C.No.64/2022 dated 29.03.2022 in respect of Sy.No.818 (Extent Ac.8.72 cents) and Sy.No.817-4 (Extent Ac.4.36 cents), the present writ petition is filed. When the matter is called on 19.01.2022, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Similarly, there is no representation on behalf of the
petitioners on last several occasions. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. The record would indicate that upon the representation made by Sri Manjunadha and others stating that an extent of Ac. 12.64 cents recorded excessly in the adangal and requested the collector to adjust the differential extent and to distribute equally to them, respondent No.4 issued the impugned notices dated 29.03.2022 vide Rc.No.64/2022 to the petitioners asking them to appear before him along with documents in respect of the subject land. one were Ordinarily Writ does not lie against mere issuance of show cause notice. Entertaining writ petition against show cause notice dehors the limit of Writ Jurisdiction. In view of the above, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending, as the present writ petition is filed questioning the notices issued by respondent No.4 and the writ petition deserves dismissal. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
