The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“.... to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the respondent No.4 herein in calling the petitioner to the police station and demanding her to pay the cash and gold ornaments otherwise threatening to implicate him in false criminal cases and thereby causing interference with my personal life and liberty, as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent No.2 herein to take action against the 4th respondent as per Law, and to grant ...”
None represented for the Petitioner.
At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent State placed on record the written instructions and would submit that Petitioner and her husband are shown as accused in several cases and they are active persons in committing theft of gold ornaments and cash. The allegations made in the writ petition are false and baseless and to come out the cases, the made out the false allegations that respondent No.4 called her to the Police station and demanded cash of Rs.2,00,000/-, which is false and far from truth and Police never called her to the Police Station and requested the Court to pass appropriate orders by disposing of this Writ Petition.
In the light of the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No
order as to costs.
Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
