JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE ORDER 28.04.2025 In the instant petition, the petitioner has complained non-compliance of order dated 16.08.2023 passed by this Court, whereby SWP No. 2785/2013, came to be disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to consider the representation/claim of the petitioners and decide the same expeditiously, as permissible under law, preferably within a period of four months from today. Counsel for the respondent/contemnor states that a compliance report has been filed today itself and copy of the same has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner in advance, which is being admitted by counsel for the petitioner. According to learned counsel for the respondent/contemnor, the claim of the petitioner stands considered in tune with the order passed by this Court and in this regard, consideration order dated 25.04.2025 has also been passed, which is also being admitted by counsel for the petitioner. Having regard to the aforesaid position obtaining in the matter, it appears that the respondent/contemnor has complied with the order, the non-compliance of which is complained of. Accordingly, the contempt notice issued is hereby recalled and the proceedings are closed, with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy against the consideration order, if so advised.
