In view of the said circumstance, instead of keeping this Writ Petition pending, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department to consider the case of the petitioner in pursuance of the order passed in C.C.No.343 of 2015 dated 10.01.2023, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs..” 2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the present Contempt Case, the respondents have considered the petitioner’s representation dated 23.06.2023 and passed necessary orders on 02.09.2025. Hence, he prays that the Contempt Case may be closed. 3. Recording the said submission, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
