The Court made the following Order:
The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“… to issue order, writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the final bill amount of Rs.7,25,457/- and 6,97,656/- to the petitioner including interest for the work “Construction of Check Dam No.1 across Peddavanka near Kadamakuntla Village, Tuggali Mandal, Kurnool District and construction of Check dam at ID No.323 near Kadamakuntla Village Thuggali Mandal Kurnool District” in pursuance of Agreement with the 5th respondent Vide Agreement No.2240/2018-19 dated 24.01.2019 and Agreement No.2308/2018-19 dated 05.02.2019, as being illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of natural justice and Unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to pay undisputed final bill amount of Rs.7,25,457/- and 6,97,656/- to the petitioner including interest for the work “Construction of Check Dam No.1 across Peddavanka near Kadamakuntla Village, Tuggali Mandal, Kurnool District and construction of Check dam at ID No.323 near Kadamakuntla Village, Thuggali Mandal, Kurnool District” in pursuance of Agreement with the 5th respondent Vide Agreement No.2240/2018-19 dated 24.01.2019 and agreement no.2308/2018-19 dated 05.02.2019 and to pass such other order or orders ….”
2. When the writ petition came up for admission on 20.04.2022, this Court was pleased to pass the following interim direction in I.A.No.1 of 2022:
“In the circumstances, the respondents are directed to pay the approved and final bill amount due to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”
3. Today, when the writ petition came up for hearing, Ms. G.Prasanthi, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that, pending writ petition, the respondent authorities have paid the amounts due to the petitioner. 5 VS,J
