The Court made the following Order:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the illegal actions of the respondents 2 and 3 against petitioners in person and properties by interfering with their peaceful possession and enjoyment of their lands to an extent of Ac.10.43 cents of dry lands situated at Meghavaram Village, Santhabommali Mandal, Srikakulam District are covered in R.S.Nos 8- 1, 17-18, 48-3, 51-7, 51-4, 61-3, 62-2, 69-17, 143/1, 143/8, 142-2, 142-6, 184, 88-3, 27-6, 166-3, 50-11, 73-2, 59-16, 64-4,5,9,12 and 67/5 and 51-2 which are illegal, arbitrary and unjust.”
2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that basing on the petitioners’ representation, a crime was registered against the unofficial respondents vide Crime No.162 of 2021 on the file of the Puthalapattu Police Station, Chittoor District, for the offences punishable under Section 506, 509 read with 34 IPC. 3. Recording the said submission, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission itself.
