PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.50 of 2021, on the file of SHO, Rajahmundry III Town Police Station, Rajamahendravaram Urban District. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 10.02.2021, this Court has passed the following order: “Considering the allegations set out in the F.I.R., this Court do not see any valid ground to stay the investigation. The investigation shall go on. However, as the offences registered against the petitioner are all punishable with less than seven years period of imprisonment, the Investigation Officer is directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41A Cr.P.C.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on oral instructions has informed this Court that in view of the order passed by this Court on 10.02.2021, the Police have proceeded with the investigation and investigated five (05) witnesses, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same. 4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition after completion of the investigation and get it numbered as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
