(Oral) Petitioner claims that his application for issuance of caste certificate for OBC category has wrongly been rejected. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per the Government Order, the petitioner is entitled to caste certificate, but he is denied such certificate. He would submit that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 03.12.2024 (Annexure No. 11 to the writ petition), which is still pending. 4. Learned State Counsel would submit that the petitioner had not deposited the necessary documents required for issuance of certificate; therefore his application was rejected. He would submit that now the petitioner’s representation may be decided within a period of six weeks. 5. The Court takes on record the statement made by the learned State Counsel. 2 6. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Tehsildar, Tehsil Gadarpur, District Udham Singh Nagar to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 03.12.2024 (Annexure No. 11 to the writ petition) within six weeks from today.
