Mandal, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Narain Dutt, Brief Holder for the State/respondents. It is the case of the petitioner that he has applied for inter-division transfer, but he has not been transferred on the ground that the positions are not vacant, whereas, the positions are vacant. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there are various positions vacant in the division, where the petitioner seeks his transfer, but the respondents/authorities are not taking a decision on it. He would also submit that the petitioner has also filed representation on 11.04.2025 to the respondent no.2, but till date it has not been decided. Learned State counsel would submit that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2025 within a period of four weeks.
