Petitioner, by way of this petition, seeks quashing of order dated 27.04.2002, vide which, adverse remarks were recorded in the Annual Confidential Report for the period from Jan 2001 to Dec 2001, and also to quash order dated 11.10.2002, issued by respondent No. 6, by which, representation of the petitioner has been rejected. Further direction is sought to expunge the adverse remarks recorded and communicated to the petitioner for the period 2001 and 2002 and not to give effect to the adverse remarks while considering the petitioner for promotion to the post of Stenographer Grade II and the respondents be also restrained to consider the adverse remarks in the Annual Performance Report while considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to next higher post to Stenographer Grade II. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was denied promotion in between 2003 to 2006 on the basis of ACRs of 2001 and 2002. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents has placed on record communication dated 27.04.2024, issued by the respondents, in which it is stated that the petitioner was not denied any promotion in between 2003 to 2006 on the basis of his ACRs of 2001 and 2002. 3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for consideration in this petition, as such, the same is dismissed.
