This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents no 2 and 4 in not taking any action on the complaint of petitioners on 29-02-2024. and not even registering an FIR or causing any enquiries in terms of the judgement of the Hon’ble Apex Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari Vs State of U.P, as being illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioners on 29- 02-2024 and to register FIR.”

Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the Police have not received any complaint or representation from the Petitioner. 3. None represented for the Petitioner. 3
4. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Police and make a fresh representation, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
