This is an appeal filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 against the Judgment & Award dated 19.07.2023 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 1, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case No. 1358/2017. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the awarded amount by learned Tribunal is on the higher side, since the learned Tribunal did not calculate the amount as per the medical documents submitted and also not in accordance to the law in vogue.
