THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ)
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ, direction, order or orders in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 10.4.2024 vide Appl. No. 700258 passed by the Deputy Commissioner as per Annexure-K;
ii. Pass any other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of quashing.
2. The application for conversion of the land of the petitioner for agriculture to non-agricultural purposes came to be rejected vide Annexure-K on the ground that there is a writ petition which is pending before this court.
3. Though the writ petition number has not been mentioned in the said rejection order, the Counsel for the Petitioner, as also learned AGA submit that the

endorsement relates to the pendency of writ petitions No.103568 of 2015 and 104522-538 of 2015.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the said writ petitions having been disposed of on 25.03.2021, the said endorsement could not have been issued on
9.04.2024. In that view of the matter, I pass the following:
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. A certiorari is issued. The order dated 10.4.2024 passed by the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner at Annexure-K is quashed. iii. Respondent No.1-the Principal Secretary, Revenue Department and the Principal Secretary, E-Governance Department are
directed to integrate the workflow of conversion under Section 95 with the CCMS, so that the concerned writ petition number or any other proceedings

are reflected in respect of any such conversion application. iv. A compliance report to be filed on or before
23.09.2025. v. Though the above petition is disposed, relist on
23.09.2025.
