This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the Petitioners for the following relief: “to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents more particularly respondent Nos. 4 and 5 in not considering petitioners representation dated. 30.07.2025 submitted seeking to delete his agricultural landed properties admeasuring Ac. 2.15 cents covered by Survey No. 278/2 and an Ac. 2.95 cents covered by Survey No. 279/2 total admeasuring Ac. 5.10 cents situated in Sanigudem Village, Denduluru Mandal, Eluru District from the list of prohibited properties for Registration under Section 22-A of Registration Act, 1908, as illegal, irregular, irrational, violative of provisions of The Registration Act, 1908 and Rules framed there under and offends Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to delete his said lands from list of prohibited properties for Registration under 22A of Registration Act, 1908 and pass…” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an application/representation dated 30.07.2025 to the respondent authorities seeking deletion of an extent of Ac. 2.15 cents covered by Survey No. 278/2 and Ac. 2.95 cents covered by Survey No. ::3:: 279/2, totaling Ac. 5.10 cents, situated at Sanigudem Village, Denduluru Mandal, Eluru District, from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908. Even after receipt of the petitioner’s application dated 30.07.2025, the respondent authorities have neither considered the same nor issued any proceedings till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents submits that the matter has been referred to the District Collector for consideration and the same is pending. 5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents, and upon perusal of the material placed on record, this Court is of the considered view that the present Writ Petition can be disposed of by directing respondent No.4/District Collector to consider the petitioner’s application/representation dated 30.07.2025 for deletion of the subject property from the prohibited list notified under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908, as expeditiously as possible and strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that the respondent authorities shall conduct a necessary inquiry after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties. ::4:: 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. As a sequel, interlocutory applications if any pending, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D.
