2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned D.A.G. with Mr. Vikas Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent No.1.
3. Delay in filing the counter affidavit is condoned. Counter affidavit filed by the State is taken on record. Delay Condonation Application (IA/1/2025) made therefor, is allowed.
4. In the counter affidavit, it is stated by learned State Counsel that after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted against petitioner on 31.03.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would challenge the said charge-sheet before the appropriate forum in appropriate proceedings, if so advised.
6. In view of the statement made by
learned counsel for the parties, nothing remains in the present criminal writ petition and it has rendered infructuous.
7. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to petitioner to challenge the charge- sheet before the appropriate forum in appropriate proceedings, if so advised.
