A memo is filed reporting the settlement.
2. Memo reads as under:
“It is submitted that, the parties to the above Revision Petition have amicably settled the matter. In view of the same the petitioner had paid Rs.23,000/- to the Respondent by way of Cash in full and final settlement of the matter. Hence it is more respectfully prayed that, this Hon’ble Court be pleased to dispose of the Revision Petition recording the same, in the interest of Justice and Equity.”
3. A sum of Rs.23,000/- is tendered by the revision petitioner to the respondent. The same is acknowledged in the order sheet.
4. In view of the memo, revision petition stands
disposed of.

5. The amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant under due identification.
6. Since the compensation amount is settled is settled, fine amount of Rs.10,000/- ordered by the Trial Magistrate confirmed by the First Appellate Court towards the defraying expenses of the State is set aside as the lis is privy to the parties and no State machinery is involved.
