GP FOR HOME 2 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioners and frequently summoning the petitioners to the police station otherwise than due process of law as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Art. 19, 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioners life and liberty by summoning to police station without following due process of law.” 2. Sri Siva Prasad Reddy Venati, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Police are calling the Petitioners to the Police Station without following due process of law. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by Respondent No.5 through PGRS, the Petitioners were called to the Police Station for enquiry, however, no crime has been registered against the Petitioners. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to summon the Petitioners to the Police Station, without there being any case registered against them. There shall be no order as to costs.
