JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) 1. Learned AGA accepts notice for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and notice to respondent no. 3 is dispensed with as per order dated 29.07.2025. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: I. To issue writ in the nature of certiorari to Quash the impugned notification issued by R2 inviting the application for guest lecturers No KA Shi E/ NEVI- 1-AUA/28/2025-26 dated 25/06/2025 vide Annexure B in respect of petitioners. II. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus or in nature of any other writ directing the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to continue his service in the respondent colleges till end of the A.Y 2025- 26.3. III. Pass such orders as this Hon’ble court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case as in duty bound the Petitioners shall ever pray an act of kindness in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The grievance of the petitioner who is working as a guest lecturer in the Government First Grade College and his services are apprehended to be terminated. Accordingly, a - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:9366 WP No. 105072 of 2025 request is made for continuation of his services for the academic year 2025–2026. 4. It is noted that the academic year 2025–2026 has already commenced as of 01.07.2025. The petitioner has approached this Court only on 24.07.2025, after the commencement of the academic year. 5. Reliefs of the nature sought by the petitioner may be considered only in cases where termination or non- continuation of service occurs in the midst of the academic year, so as to safeguard the interests of both students and teaching faculty. Since the petitioner has approached this Court just after the academic year has commenced and there is no mid-year discontinuation, no grounds are made out to interfere at this stage. 6.
