Heard Mr. Raza Ali and Mr. Ankur Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr. S.S. Baghel, learned Dy. Government Advocate, appearing for the State/respondent Nos.1 & 2. ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA Digitally signed by ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA 2 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita with the following prayers :- “It is therefore most humbly prayed that the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records pertaining to the case from the respondent no.2 police station and quash the FIR No.187/2025 against the petitioners registered at police station Aazad Chowk, as it is false and made with ulterior motive and further direct the police authorities to take action against the respondent no.3 or pass any other order which may deem fit to this Hon'ble Court looking to the facts and circumstance of the matter, in the interest of justice” 3. From perusal of the prayers and pleadings made in the instant petition, it transpires that though the petitioners have prayed for quashing of the FIR, but, they have not mentioned the particulars of the offences under which the FIR has been registered, which goes to show that the prayer drafted by learned counsel for the petitioners is in a very casual manner and further wasted the precious time of the Court, as such, in the opinion of this Court, the prayer is defective one. 4. Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed on this ground alone with liberty to file afresh petition with appropriate prayer, subject to depositing a sum of Rs.2,000/- as cost by the petitioners before the Registry of this Court and submit a receipt of the same at the time of filing of the fresh petition, if any, and the amount so 3 deposited, if any, shall be transmitted to the Government School for Visual and Hearing Impaired, Tifra, District – Bilaspur (C.G.). 5.
