N. Venkata Narayana ...Appellant Vs. The State Of Andhra Pradesh and Others ...Respondent(s) ********** Advocate for Appellant: Mr. Atchutananda Dondeti Advocate(s) for Respondent(s): GP for Cooperation
CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 30th December 2025 P C : The present writ appeal has been preferred against the judgment and
order, dated 20.02.2025, passed in W.P. No.3129 of 2025. The petition was dismissed on the ground that the petitioner had an equally efficacious alternate remedy by invoking the provisions under Section 61(3) of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964, which envisages that a dispute relating to or in connection with election to a committee of a society shall be referred for decision to the Tribunal having jurisdiction.
2 HCJ & CGR, J W.A. No:802 of 2025
Learned counsel for the appellant has not been in a position to satisfy us as to how the view expressed by the learned single Judge is legally unsustainable. We find no merit in the present writ appeal, which is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
