Order 09/04/2025
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a dealership agreement dated 07.07.2016 was executed between the petitioner and respondent No.3. He submits that the said agreement expired on 14.03.2021 but before expiry, an application was submitted by
[2025:RJ-JP:15805] (2 of 2) [CW-2746/2025] the petitioner on 15.02.2021 for renewal of Dealership Agreement (LPG Domestic and Commercial). It is submitted that till date no
order has been passed on the application filed by the petitioner for renewal of Dealership Agreement (LPG Domestic and Commercial). Counsel submits that petitioner has been informed by several letters that renewal procedure is under consideration and to take decision some time is required. In these circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that directions may be issued to respondent No.3 to take decision on the application dated 15.02.2021 for renewal of Dealership Agreement (LPG Domestic and Commercial). Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that application filed by the petitioner for renewal of Dealership Agreement (LPG Domestic and Commercial) is pending till date before respondent No.3 and decision on the said application is yet to be taken, I deem it just and proper to direct the petitioner to file an application before respondent No.3 to take decision on the application dated 15.02.2021. If any application is filed by the petitioner within a period of three weeks from today, respondent No.3 is directed to take decision on the application dated 15.02.2021 for renewal of Dealership Agreement (LPG Domestic and Commercial) within a period of three months in accordance with law.
