According to petitioner, he was initially appointed as Cooperative Supervisor in the pay- scale of Rs. 975-25-1150-30-1680 vide order dated 14.01.1999, passed by Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, U.P./Chairman, Regional Committee, Provincial Cooperative Union, Saharanpur and he retired from the post of Cooperative Inspector, Group-II on 31.01.2022. 3. According to petitioner, he is entitled to pension and other retiral benefits; however, except gratuity and provident fund, other benefits have not been paid to him. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that petitioner has been paid P.F., Gratuity, Group Insurance and Leave Encashment. 4. Learned State Counsel further submits that since petitioner was an employee of Provincial Cooperative Union and he was not a State employee, therefore, his services are not pensionable. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner 2025:UHC:7525 has sought a direction to the respondent to pay pension, gratuity, fund and leave encashment to him. 6. Since petitioner has made a representation to the competent authority which is on record as Anneuxre-6 to the writ petition and learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner be permitted to make fresh representation. 7. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make fresh representation regarding pension and other dues. If he makes representation within three weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by Registrar, Cooperative Societies Uttarakhand within four months thereafter.
