This petition has been filed for regular bail under Section 483 of BNSS in case FIR No. 79 dated 15.03.2025 under Sections 21, 22, 27-A, 29 of NDPS Act and Section 111 of BNS registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has been found in possession of the 25 unlabelled intoxicating tablets. On personal search, Rs. 610/- were recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2025. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate in the Court today, which is taken on record. As per custody certificate dated 06.05.2025 the petitioner is in custody for 01 month and 20 days and he is not involved in any other case. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 6. In view of the statement of the learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is granted concession of interim bail on his furnishing requisite bail bonds, surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate/Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned till the filing of FSL report. When the FSL report is received and challan is prepared, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court and seek regular bail. (H.S.GREWAL) 07.05.2025.
