GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not receiving the complaint dated 3.2.2021 and registering the crime on the said complaint dated 3.2.2021 against the respondents 4, 5, 6 and 7 as illegal, arbitrary and in gross violation of Article 21 of the Constitution and further direct the 2nd respondent to immediately receive the complaint dated 3.2.2021 and register the crime based on the same.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter, would submit that the media persons of ANB News Channel, Mana Telugu TV broad caste false news regarding damage of Marlabanda Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple at the outskirts of Sajjaladuddam Village of Kosigi Mandal. On that, they were arrested by the Police. With a view to make the same as an issue against the Police, the Petitioner lodged complaints against the Police personnel. It is further submitted that, if the Petitioner received any injuries, in order to treat the same as cognizable offence, there should have been a reference of MLC by the Government Area Hospital, Adoni. It is further submitted that the allegations made in the petition dated 03.02.2021 submitted by the Petitioner are false. 3. Ms.V.Sesha Kumari, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
