No representation for the petitioners. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions would submit that the police have not interfered in the civil disputes between the parties. It is submitted that criminal cases were registered on complaints from both sides (i) Crime No.254 of 2023, dated 15.07.2023, was registered on the complaint of Kolli Anil Kumar, caretaker of the lands belonging to the 5th respondent, for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 384, 447 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC against A1 to A10, who are stated to be family members and henchmen of the writ petitioner. (ii) Crime No.255 of 2023 was registered on the complaint of Kumar Reddy Vajjarla, uncle of the petitioner, for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 447, 427 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC against A1 to A3, who are alleged to be henchmen of the 5th respondent. (iii) Crime No.335 of 2023 was registered on the complaint of the 5th respondent alleging interference with peaceful possession and an attempt by the petitioner’s henchmen to erect fencing on the disputed land, for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC against A1 to A19. It is further submitted that in view of the land dispute and to prevent breach of peace, a requisition dated 18.07.2023 was sent to the Mandal Executive Magistrate seeking initiation of preventive proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C., and that the police have taken steps only to maintain law and order. 4. Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
